Curious about what to expect?
Explore the questions and answers below:

1.  What's it like?

Living Gateway Church is a small, but growing, church that prioritizes the move of the Holy spirit.  It feels like a family gathering where everyone is bracing for a bit of a whirlwind.  There's a palpable sense of "expectancy" - the belief that something supernatural could happen at any moment.

You'll see people with hands raised, some kneeling and others moving to the music.  Service can extend past the "scheduled" time if the leadership senses the Spirit is moving.  You might hear someone give a "prophetic word" or a message in tongues.  People may gather at the altar to pray for healing or personal breakthrough.

Prayer isn't just a quiet moment; it's often labored over.  Because prayer is a priority, each Sunday morning, the service begins with  Awakening Prayer to center hearts on the Lord in praise and adoration.

Because the church is going through a rebirthing process, everyone wears multiple hats.  For example, the semi-professional drummer happens to be the pastor.   Because LGC is small, but growing, your voice matters in the room and every new family is celebrated.  You just aren't attending a service; you're helping build a movement.

2.  What about my kids?

Currently, our Children's Ministry fosters a family-like atmosphere for children up to Grade 5 in which teachers create space for kids to hear God's voice, pray for one another, learn the teachings of God's Word and are encouraged to develop a personal relationship with Christ.  Older kids are integrated into the main service and encouraged to participate as vital members of God's family..

The nursery is equipped with closed circuit television so those in attendance can view the service in the sanctuary.

3.  Where do I park?

Living Gateway Church has no assigned parking places other than handicapped parking near the entrance.  You are welcome to park anywhere on the paved lot or in the overflow gravel parking lot, which provides a concrete sidewalk to the entrance.

4.  What do I wear?

We don't have a strict dress code - what matters most is that you're here with us!  You'll see a range of styles, but our church family is pretty casual.  Most people wear modest, comfortable clothing like jeans or khakis.  You don't need to dress up to fit in.  We simply ask that you choose clothing that allows everyone to focus on worship.

Our pastor and worship team often dress casually; so don't worry, you'll fit right in.

5.  How can I get connected?

Getting connected is as easy as 1-2-3.  Here's how:

A.  Hang out.

  • After service, we hang out in the lobby.  It's the best time to meet our pastor and ask questions.

B.  Fill out a Connect Card.

  • You can find these in the seat backs or on the online "Let's Connect" form by clicking here  We'll reach out just to say hello and see how we can pray for you.

C.  Join a Group.

We believe life happens in circles, not just rows.

  • Check out our Men's and Women's groups to build friendships and dive deeper into what God is doing.
  • Wednesday night service includes: "Prevailing Prayer"  followed by Bible Study.  Prevailing Prayer offers the opportunity for you to participate in corporate prayer and worship and hear testimonies of answered prayer.  Bible Study allows you to dive into God's Word in an intimate, high-engagement environment where the Holy Spirit can work through every participant.
